@anon-qg My first thought would have been in regards to the Anki version, but you said you tried them. I think .49 is the one that is considered compatible, but you probably already tried it. Often times developer attention can be gotten on the Discord server quickly, so if you're still having trouble, I'd go there next. They seem to be quite interested in resolving critical errors such as the one you are running into since it might be a serious bug.

Microsoft Azure Text to Speech services included multiple languages (and they're honestly really good in comparison to having nothing). I've been manually recording text from a grammar website just to have something to listen to in my anki reps, but it is a slow and tedious process. It would be cool if the Migaku card creator could do it automatically for text from websites. I don't know what the licensing requirements are to use their example ones or if perhaps there are other means of obtaining free TTS services, but the Microsoft ones are available for free for personal use here:
