I've been experiencing this as well since updating everything last night.

I specifically notice Anki crashing when I use the hotkey to lookup a highlighted word in the dictionary, regardless of whether or not the dictionary is already open - it seems like the hotkey locks up Anki and requires a force restart; I haven't tested the other hotkeys for crashes yet.

I did have one instance of Anki freezing when creating a card, and the card was blank upon force quitting and reopening Anki - but since adjusting the auto-fill settings on the card creation tab, I've been able to create more cards without crashes (so far at least). But the dictionary-lookup hotkey is still a consistent issue.

@julius Thanks for the quick reply! Here's what I'm seeing at the moment:

The Subscription button still leads to a Stripe page with no invoice history.

But the Pledge section appears to be lifetime (with a renew date of January 2130), though it does mention still needing a $5 pledge on Patreon to access the tools, or specifically the Alpha tier?

I'm assuming with a Lifetime subscription, Patreon pledges would no longer be necessary to access the Release builds, but it makes sense for early/preview access.

So, I think it's maybe sorted? Just can't see an invoice and never received one via email for the Lifetime purchase.

TLDR: purchased a Lifetime sub while Patreon sub is still active; unsure if Lifetime was successfully applied to account

Hello! I've been subscribed through Patreon for a couple months, but I just noticed there was a Lifetime sub option and decided to go for it.

However, my Patreon access is still active at the moment, and it looks like ther may be an issue with my account. I can't tell if the Lifetime subscription was succesfully applied/active - but I can confirm that the charge is pending on my credit card.

When viewing the Subscription page in my account, it says: "You are already a Beta Access patron! Only buy a subscription here if you want access to alpha releases." - and all of the Subscription purchase options are still selectable on the page.

Can I expect the Lifetime sub to kick in correctly once my Patreon sub runs out? Any information or assistance (if necessary) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time!

Edit: the Pledge status page in the Account settings swapped between March 2022 and January 2130 a couple times; 2130 is certainly a lifetime away; it looks like it's in the processing of updating.

Additionally, the Subscription page now links to a Stripe receipt page, but there's no invoice history (yet). Maybe it'll work itself out?
