@anon-2to In the dictionary, click the down arrow on the right of the text input and select Japanese instead of Cantonese in the left dropdown. This should solve your issue.

there is still one issue for Mac, could you please try with Anki 2.1.49 and the Anki Add-on 0.3.3? This should solve your issue.

You can:
-upgrade anki
-reinstall 0.2.5 from this url: https://github.com/migaku-official/Migaku-Anki-Addon/releases/download/0.2.5/Migaku.ankiaddon
-update to Anki Add-on 0.3.3 and see if it helps

@anon-2n0 you simply need to go to the Kanji Settings in Anki. Go the the Recognition tab and check the "Automatically create cards for unknown primitives" and "Automatically create kanji cards for unknown kanji in newly added cards".

This error appears when you make a card and it is flagged as a the wrong type. It just means that the default field for the card type is empty (Sentence for Sentence card, Target Word for Vocabulary card, Sentence Audio for Audio Sentence card, Word Audio for Audio Vocabulary card).

@anon-282 It only imports the "known"/"seen" status... so if you haven't reviewed the cards yet, they won't be imported. If you have reviewed all the cards in the deck, it should import the ones you've passed at least 4 times (card interval above 21 days) as "known" and the others as "seen".

@anon-23d This is fixed in the redesign so it will no longer be a problem in the future.

Unpublished due to too many incorrect furigana reading automatically added. If I get some free time in the next months, I'll try to correct the decks and republish them.

@horho77 yup my bad... I made it from my mature deck so you were getting the "completed deck" scheduling. I have republished from a brand new deck since and removed the old deck from ankiweb.

The Sort Field isn't actually important, the scheduling is based on the Due field.

thanks to Stevi, the reader part is fixed I didn't tick the "Auto hide ruby text" option.

広がって gets parsed as: 広い (N5) "wide" and がる (N1) "to show signs of being"
instead of a conjugation of N3 verb 広がる "to stretch"

@tenaciousd19800 The dictionary app accepts two formats. yomichan dictionary and Migaku dictionary. At the moment, your safer bet is yomichan format.

I have updated existing Tango decks to the new Migaku Japanese format. I will probably upload the N3 deck soon. Enjoy.
