It would be helpful if there was a way to sync settings for the browser extension besides just syncing word lists. It can take a while to set up the extension on a new computer, especially if setting it up to import words from Anki.

Likewise, setting up the Anki plugin can be time consuming on each computer and it would be helpful if those settings could be synced as well... Let me know if I should make a second post for the Anki plugin. I just thought that both suggestions were similar enough and I didnt want to spam this forum with too many topics.

I just upgraded to the new browser extension. I have to say, I much prefer the old method of bulk generating readings instead of the new "add language syntax to cards" . Before, we had more control to do things like duplicate content to other fields, decide to add or replace content, or remove HTML . Now all of those options are gone and im sad.

I get the decision was probably done to make the plugin easier to use and more mainstreamed but power users like me are missing some of those old features. Perhaps a "show advanced options" toggle can be included so that the old features can be brought back?

Currently, when reading text, a keyboard shortcut has to be pressed to bring up the card creation windows in anki. It would be useful if the popup dictionary had a button to send a word or sentence to Anki.

I second this. It would be easier for people to use the browser plugin on windows tablets without a keyboard with this feature.
