@stevimigaku so my testing shows:
It occures on all netflix series i tested.
It occures on animelon in the subtitle browser too.

It doesn't occure on a normal webpage.

Hope that information helps. Right now i just workaround by googling the word and then adding it.

@kieranmigaku did u see my answer? it should at least be learning. I am having that issue still on more words. What you mean is the known status, that can be set. But it should be learning after 1 hit it in anki once.
PS: i doubled checked that with quite some words. Mainly its right but i have some bugged issues sometimes

But that has nothing to do with the bracket removal that is being discussed here. That is just because いつも and 通り are two words. If you want to look for phrases in the pop up dictionary then you can press shift + z and the pop up will ignore the parsing.

New Problem: Cards that i already learned and had custom data on it, disapear and apear again new and naked.

@learning_japanese Does that card have a sentence? The one that is appearing blank that is?
