    • Anki: how to prevent rep time from getting out of hand ?

      With this Migaku approach, one could, in a 'New York minute', add lots and lots and LOTS of cards — that's fine and dandy, but someone eventually has to REP all this cards …

      What would be a viable strategy to keep daily rep time to […] minutes; and to automatically find the dispensable cards that could be deleted in case there end up being way more new cards than could possibly be learnt/repped?

      @stevimigaku
      Thanks for replying!

      If one gives people lifelong access to a free buffet, one should also give them some hint as to how not to get fat … 😉

      The more one quickens/automates card creation, the more it becomes necessary to have a strategy to manage rep times.

      Many people give up Anki b/c they get smothered with more and more reviews …

      But — it's not 'all or nothing': better to rep SOME cards than not repping at all, b/c one has thrown in the towel.

      Anki is a powerful tool; alas, the more daily reps start to take over, the more counter-productive Anki becomes.
