can't login to migaku memory site

when i try to login to study.migaku.com with the same credentials i use for the plugin and community.migaku.io i get an error "sorry, your account doesn't have access at this time".
i've been seeing this since i signed up but previously when i got this error if i reloaded the page i would be logged in but now i can't get past it. i've tried on multiple browsers, on a mac running 13.5.2.
(tried to upload screenshot but get imgur over capacity error)
