Too many definitions.
-
I have been studying Japanese.
Whenever I create an anki card I always have to go back to the dictionary and remove like a thousand definitions for one sentence. also it gives me definitions for partials, I have JMdict, Kireicake, etc. This is a problem because when you sentence mining content that has a lot of unknown words it gives you definitions for every single word in that sentence instead of just the definition of the one word you are putting focus on. As well as the fact that it is extremally time consuming to go back and edit every single sentence that you mine. I have watched countless videos about the dictionary but none of them have helped. If anyone has had a simmilar thing going on and has fixed it then please let me know. Here are some screenshots of my current dictionaries

Normally we don't recommend mining from content with that many unknown words, and that people should really stick to 1T sentence. If you still want to mine this kind of content you can do so with the new version. It has a feature where the pop up dictionary has a small export button in the right corner. If you press that button, while looking up a word, the sentence gets exported with only that word as the target.
Now that version is currently in a community beta test, so it is not on the chrome store. If you don't mind doing a manual install for now, you can find this version here: https://discord.com/channels/752293144917180496/752293144917180499/1111521038417809458
If you don't want to install this version manually, you can wait a bit. Once we are sure that there are no big bugs, we will upload it to the chrome store and people using the chrome store version will get an automatic update.
