Learning Status not syncing with words in the Word Library

For some reason the words in the Word Library for German that I updated by importing from Anki and are listed as Known are labelled Unknown on websites and in videos. I've clicked "sync now" and refreshed but that didn't do anything. I tried doing a fresh install on a new chrome profile and it still did the same thing. This makes the extension parsing unusable for me atm if it won't update alongside the word library. Any ideas what's going on? I've added some images below.
