Anki incompatibility with add-on ? Keep crashing
-
So I've been having a lot of bugs with Migaku since subscribing recently. This most recent one is to do with anki and the add-on, and this time I'm not sure what to do.
Since downloading the add-on, whenever I open Anki what looks like error messages / command prompts pop up. However, they pop up too quickly (imagine flashes) so I'm unable to even see what the issue is. If I also have the Migaku dictionary open, whatever is popping up continues flashing until I close both dictionary and anki. I've deleted other add-ons/ deleted this one, and it's led me to conclude that it's definitely a problem with the anki add-on.
Other issues include (aside from the annoying flashes), for google chrome, being unable to copy the sentence into the flashcard -- the field just ends up empty and I'm greeted with lots of flashes from anki.
I'm not sure if this is connected but it's also worth mentioning that my other browser (Opera) was able to copy the sentences I wanted into flashcards, but it never picked up the exact word I hovered over. In addition, Opera now just doesn't work for Migaku dictionary so it looks like both google chrome and opera aren't working with anki/ migaku.
I've tried different anki updates, I've changed the default driver and nothing changed either. I'm also not a programmer, so there's a limit to how much I can solve this independently.
Many thanks for reading this, and I hope this can be resolved !

@xizle Hey, thanks so much for the response. Good thinking. I'll go there.

@anon-qg My first thought would have been in regards to the Anki version, but you said you tried them. I think .49 is the one that is considered compatible, but you probably already tried it. Often times developer attention can be gotten on the Discord server quickly, so if you're still having trouble, I'd go there next. They seem to be quite interested in resolving critical errors such as the one you are running into since it might be a serious bug.
