I watched the gibly movies in the past and it was fine. Now on a rewatch i noticed that a lot of parsing misses words or parts of words.

      For example here:

      https://www.netflix.com/watch/70035036?trackId=14170286&tctx=2%2C1%2C6871fc72-bd89-4f5d-96f8-101c1637b8b8-75811678%2Cf06fd768-1dcb-4920-b1d7-e90a10c6821a_107537510X3XX1645227090181%2Cf06fd768-1dcb-4920-b1d7-e90a10c6821a_ROOT%2C%2C%2C

But that has nothing to do with the bracket removal that is being discussed here. That is just because いつも and 通り are two words. If you want to look for phrases in the pop up dictionary then you can press shift + z and the pop up will ignore the parsing.

I experience this alot to. Example: Yomichan can look up いつも通り, but the popup dict shows いつも and 通り separeted. This in the Clipboard, no brakets had to be removed.

Experienced this too with Kiki's Delivery Service on Netflix today. Seems like it's just removing every character between the first opening bracket and the final closing bracket. (Ignore the font, I've been playing with the settings !) unknown.png unknown2.png

That is not a problem of the parser. Its from the bracket removal. The bracket removal has problems when there are multiple brackets in a line. It removes everything between the first open bracket and the last closing one.
I think Lucas is aware of that, but I will tell him again to make sure.

Same story with Migaku Reader, I used to read a lot of web novels with migaku and don't remember the parser having such a hard time parsing words
