      Hello, I've downloaded the Anki Migaku add on, restarted anki and got the welcome screen but when I go to add my word data from Anki it pops up a window migaku error.PNG

      Really not sure what to do to resolve this since I've reinstalled the add on already and anki is definitely running.

          Ah jesus you're right my anki was way out of date somehow. Thank you it works perfectly now!

            You are trying to set up the Migaku Browser Extension, right? If so you need the newest version of Anki and you dont need the Migaku Japanese Addon.

            Everything you need, together with a setup video is linked in the get started guide on our homepage.

              Extension version 1.2.3 (assuming you're talking about what it says in the Migaku Japanese Settings in the anki app)
              Google Chrome Browser

              as for the settings I'm not quite sure where that is or how to get there

                Anki Version: (eg. 2.1.49)
                Extension Version: (eg. 0.9.9.2)
                Browser used: (eg. Google Chrome)

                Is this point in the settings green?
