As the title suggests, I want to know whether the problem is on my end or on Migaku's addon.

There are many words that Yomichan is able to grasp but not Migaku. For example, いかさま (meaning Fraud), Migaku thinks it's いか and さま, while Yomichan correctly suggests the whole word.

I am of course not normally using both Yomichan and Migaku at the same time just in case, only did for this screenshot, and can confirm the result is the same when using them separately.

      System: Ubuntu Linux

      Project: Migaku Browser Extension

      Tool Version: 0.9.9.2

      Anki Version: 2.1.49

      Feature: Pop up Dictionary

Appreciate your time and thanks for the help in advance.

Attaching some screenshots of some settings just in case as well:

Another example with the word まさか

@stevimigaku Thank you very much for your reply.

This little workaround does not help with automated card creation but still appreciated, will use it to manually mine; and I will eagerly await for the parser improvement. 🙂

A big thumbs up from me to you guys, Migaku is great and seems it will get better.

In cases like this you can press shift + z and you should get the same result as yomichan. But yeah we will be improving the parsing in the future.
